MISSIONS AT ONE
Serving others is a cornerstone of the Christian faith. Partnered with organizations in our city and throughout the world, these ongoing and one time opportunities are all about being the hands and feet of Jesus!
LOCAL MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES
FAMILIES COUNT
What: Families Count is a biblically based ministry of Lifeline Services that provides a six-week parenting class and mentoring program for parents working to reunite with their children in foster care. The program creates a supportive environment through classes, complimentary meals, childcare, and relational encouragement. The goal is to help families achieve permanency by equipping parents with new skills and surrounding them with meaningful support. Families Count is seeking adult volunteers from ONE Fellowship to serve as Parent Advocates. Advocates provide relational support by offering rides, encouraging course completion, engaging in supportive conversations, sharing the love of Jesus, and simply being a consistent friend. (Note: Volunteers are not expected to provide counseling. We serve as the support team.)
