OUR MISSION
ONE Fellowship seeks to know Christ and make Him known to the one and the many in Charleston and beyond.
OUR FOUNDATION
ONE Fellowship uniquely blends the Christian faith of old with an intentional and sacrificial focus of living the faith anew. To this end, the following commitments serve as the foundational anchors for our community of faith.
We are Gospel-Centered – We believe the gospel, or good news of Jesus, changes everything. Accordingly, we preach the whole counsel of God understanding that it all points to Him, and we aim to embody and extend the grace of Jesus in our homes, schools, work places and world.
We are Local and Personal – We prioritize a faith lived out as a community for our community. Thus, we press into discipleship groups and gatherings throughout the year, and we seek to love our neighbors as ourselves. Moreover, we intentionally encourage a faith that is multi-generational in both format and impact.
We are Ancient-Future – We stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before us, and we purposely draw from the Anglican and Presbyterian traditions. For this reason, our worship services include old hymns and new songs, corporate prayers, and the celebration of the Lord’s table each week following the sermon.
OUR CITY ENGAGEMENT
In the words of Tim Keller, “God loves cities.” In keeping with Scripture and God’s mission of bringing hope and renewal to all things through the gospel of Jesus, ONE Fellowship aims to love Charleston in both word and deed. To this end, we intentionally serve and support various church plants and nonprofit organizations in our city so that all may flourish.
OUR BELIEFS
ONE Fellowship serves as a non-denominational, creedal church, holding to the historic practices of the church and orthodox Christian beliefs as presented in the Bible and summarized in the Apostles’ Creed, Nicene Creed, and the Confessional Statement of the Gospel Coalition. Our posture in holding to these beliefs can be summarized in the ancient maxim: “In essentials, unity; in nonessentials, liberty; in all things, charity.”
